Admissions arrangements for 2022/23

St Richard Reynolds Catholic Primary School is a voluntary aided co-educational primary school within the trusteeship of the Diocese of Westminster. It provides 210 places for pupils between the ages of 4 and 11. The Govenring Body is the Admissions Authority. The closing date for applications is 15th January 2022 for places in Reception at St Richard Reynolds Catholic Primary School for children born between 1st September 2017 and August 31st 2018 for entry in September 2022. Outcomes will be advised on 16th April 2022. 20 places were allocated with priority given to baptised Catholic children if that category is oversubscribed. The remaining 10 places in the primary school were allocated on the basis of distance from the school and not on the religion of the child.

Waiting list for September 2021

Offers of places for Reception Class in September 2021 were made on 16th April 2021, by local authorities on behalf of the College. If you were unsuccesful in gaining a place you have the right to appeal to an independent appeals panel. If you were offered a place at a school you ranked lower than St Richard Reynolds in your preferences, you will be automatically added to our waiting list. If you were offered a place at a school ranked higher, you may still join the waiting list. Please do so by email to waitinglist@srrcc.org.uk with the following details:

1) Child's Name
2) Child's DOB
3) Child's Address
4) Contact number
5) Confirmation if you have originally applied.

Please note: The College Office staff do not have visibility of the waiting list and are unable to give personal information regarding positions on the waiting list

St Richard Reynolds Catholic Primary School Waiting List

Current Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 are at full capacity. Places may become available should parents move from the area or to another school.

All children will remain on the waiting list for one year from date of application unless advised by parents / guardians.
