Location and Building Programme
The College is situated at Clifden Road, Twickenham, TW1 4LT
This site is currently shared with the Richmond Adult and Community College (RACC), which is moving progressively to its other campus in Richmond. The site was formerly the home of the Twickenham Grammar School for Girls. The College is easily accessible, being a ten-minute walk from Twickenham railway station and the H22, 33, 267, 281, 290 and 490 bus routes.
The main building is a magnificent and well-maintained Edwardian structure with an impressive frontage on Clifden Road. This building will become part of the College at the end of this academic year and will be refurbished to create a modern, state-of-the-art learning environment for our pupils whilst preserving the character and charm of the building. Work on the teaching block and hall at the rear of the site is completed, on time and on budget and thanks our due to our building contractors, Bolt & Heeks, who have done a magnificent job in creating wonderful teaching and learning facilities in a very tight timing schedule. These buildings will provide enough capacity for both schools for the first two years. The new building has two science laboratories, music and practice rooms, an art room, indoor and outdoor sporting facilities set in mature grounds. A completely new professional kitchen has been installed so meals can be freshly prepared each day.
